Brēth is a speculative packaging design project in a dystopian future where humans must cultivate oxygen-producing plants within their homes to survive. Ferns were chosen for their high oxygen output, ease of care, cultivation and reproduction, making them ideal for domestic survival. The packaging includes a custom container shaped like the brand's logo, designed for growing and multiplying the ferns. It features an integrated natural-light system, activated by a built-in button. The packaging set also includes a ripe fern, moisture dispenser and a daily care guide. This speculative project combines branding, packaging, product and editorial design developed using Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop and Blender.

The packaging includes a custom container shaped like the brand's logo, designed for growing and multiplying the ferns. It features an integrated indirect and soft lighting system. It also contains an irrigation system at the top for daily misting. This increases ambient humidity and maintains it above 60%. The flowerpot has good drainage to keep ferns healthy. The material used for the flowerpot's production is plastic — the best material for retaining moisture.
